I’m extremely excited to be presenting to you one of the most amazing gallery weddings I’ve shot this year. Not only was Claudia and Jason’s wedding overflowing with DIY details, it was also filled with personality and emotion. I had a great time editing the photos because everyone was either laughing or crying in them. And I think it was really the perfect example of what a wedding should be about. It was an intimate gathering of closest friends and family to witness the love between two people, and I hope I was able to capture the best moments.
Claudia was still writing her vows that morning and her bridesmaids helped scribble that on a piece of paper. *cute*
Claudia realised that morning that she had completely forgotten about the bouquet. Oops! But thanks to her very talented and artistic friends, they worked their magic and created this beautiful arrangement from the flowers used for decorating the gallery.
No detail was amiss and all the feather button holes were made by the groom himself.
The outfits of the groomsman and “groomsladies” were also perfectly suited to the colour and theme of the wedding.
The gallery would have been a blank canvas but for the delicious DIY details.
The outdoor setting for photos and for guests to relax in.
Wedding soundtrack and some bubbly as wedding favours
Behind the place cards…
Even the dessert table was DIY!
Hilarious speeches and an emotional song performed by a dear friend
I don’t think I need to describe how awesome Jason’s speech was.
Claudia and Jason hired an open-roof bus to take the whole party to Mamoz for some dancing to finish off the perfect night.
